As Clockwork Coker reported yesterday, my (and Patty's and Chasen's) alma mater, Chapman University, want to buy the Crystal Cathedral–a beautiful proposal, given that the Rev. Robert Schuller set in motion the paranoid conservative politics that Chapman University now pride themselves on. It's attracting worldwide attention, enough so that KCRW-FM's 89.9 Which Way, L.A. public affairs show devoted a big chunk to the scandal yesterday.
