It's hard to dance your ass off at a party with no music and with no friends. So don't try to do that. Come see CSS play at the Glass House instead. This band, composed of a group of friends from Brazil, play an infectiously danceable brand of electro indie rock. Think hand claps and garage-y guitar licks. And like many bands from foreign lands, CSS are perfectly capable of singing songs in English. Bonus trivia: Their alphabet-soup moniker stands for “cansei de der sexy,” which translates as “tired of being sexy.” Legend and Wikipedia have it the name was lifted from a Beyoncé interview in which the ultra-curvy starlet was whining about the crummy hand she was dealt. I already like these guys.
