David Sedaris To Appear At Chapman University

You gotta commend any author who comes up with masterpiece lines such as, “If you're looking for sympathy you'll find it between shit and syphilis in the dictionary” (Barrel Fever).
David Sedaris, whose wickedly hilarious prose is known to cause readers to spit their food across the table, will appear at Chapman University on Nov. 19 as part of the school's Distinguished Writer Series. He'll be doing a reading, followed by an audience Q&A and a book signing (whichever book you'd like to bring, we presume.)
Sedaris is the twisted mind responsible for works such as Me Talk Pretty One Day and You Are Engulfed In FlamesWhen he visited Chapman last year, he read from his latest work, Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk, a collection of animal fables.
