With vocalist Efrem Schulz's diverse hardcore growl, which switches occasionally to a Davey Havok wail, Death by Stereo is so much more than a band with a name lifted from an 80s movie. They've been playing since 1996 and have six albums to their name, most recently 2009's Death is My Only Friend.
