Donna/Madonna is a one-act play told through a panoply of characters including Darth Vader and comedienne Carol Channing. How can you not be curious, dear reader? Written by and featuring John Paul Karliak, the autobiographical performance presents the tale of an adopted son who desperately wants to be perfect for his Catholic mother (a resident of Scranton, PA). Seemingly doomed to life as a perpetual outsider, Karliak seeks advice from his biological mother, who's married to a British pop star. Starting in the land of Dunder Miflin, the play takes the audience on a journey of self discovery to the shores of the Pacific.
