Truly great men are few and far between. But it is these men, the ones whose messages change humanity and whose words linger within our souls for generations, who can truly be deemed worthy of remembrance. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s immense contribution to the advancement of civil rights through nonviolence inspired the elevation of goodness within us all, and it is for these achievements that he is recognized with a national holiday. The Irvine Barclay Theatre in association with COR Community Development will honor Dr. King in their own way with a celebration of life concert featuring Christ Our Redeemer AME Church Choir and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Fraternity Step Team.
