Studded floor to ceiling in Eastern Indian decor, Persian carpets and grand chandeliers, the design is relaxing and indulging. The House of Blues’ Foundation Room sets out to provide guests a higher level of premium services through its VIP membership program. But unless you’re part of the club no bar stool for you. (A quick aside, while ordering my drink I noticed there were only two bar stools at the bar, that’s because staff would bring stools out for members and then take them away when they left. I get the VIP treatment but it’s distracting when you’re trying to enjoy a band perform and the staff is playing musical bar stools.) Aside from this, the venue offers a great selection of signature cocktails, we recommend starting the evening with sacred sage.
At its base, an exceptional blend of two Espadin agave mezcals from Tlacolula and Yautepec. Each mezcal is produced separately and blended after distillation to create Creyente Mezcal – a joven mezcal bursting with complex herbal notes enhanced with aromatic-spiced Alpine liqueur. This refreshing fall cocktail combines sage-infused yellow chartreuse, lending additional spicy-herbal notes, brightened up with lime juice and egg white for a creamy finish. It’s vibrant and keeps you coming back for more – now that’s the VIP treatment!
