Famous Dave's has opened in Irvine Marketplace at the old Opah location. It's the second in OC for the BBQ chain and about the biggest debut for the mall since TAPS Fish House opened a month ago. The Marketplace has also recently welcomed Miguel's Jr., Mizu Sushi Bar N Grill, California Gogi Grill and Piadina Italian Market Sandwich.

Still forthcoming will be Urban Plates, The Melt, Wokcano, and another outlet of the ubiquitous The Flame Broiler.
At Famous Dave's Irvine branch, expect more of the same food: Burnt Ends, St. Louis-Style Spareribs, hot links, and combo plates that can contain all of the above with saucing options from a Rich N Sassy® to Sweet N Zesty® to Pineapple Rage®.
