Every year, the greatest concentration of wildlife on the planet trek more than 500 miles in search of food and water. This amazing journey, called The Great Migration, is an extraordinary occurrence few people have ever had the opportunity to witness. Filmed in Kenya and Tanzania, this film (narrated by none other than James Earl Jones) follows two million plus wildebeests, zebras and gazelles as they make the treacherous journey across scorching plains and croc-filled rivers to ensure their survival. Visually stunning, Africa: The Serengeti’s imagery can range from magnificent to grotesque, however, it’s the shots of the newborn animals that’ll wrench your heart in a collective “Awww.”
