For the better part of 2015, Fetty Wap has been a name many rap and mainstream music fans have become familiar with. Born Willie Maxwell, the rapper’s single “Trap Queen” has become one of the biggest breakout songs of the year, peaking at no. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. While “Trap Queen” has introduced the 24-year-old New Jersey native to a wider audience, that song isn’t his only hit. At one point this summer, Fetty Wap had three songs in the top 20 of that esteemed chart, something only Eminem and Lil Wayne can claim they’ve done as well. As for his live show, the rapper’s explosive energy manifests itself on-stage, and with only a few days until his album is unleashed, this is the rare chance to see a rising star in an intimate setting.
