As Anne Marie hinted in a previous post, the first annual Newport Beach Wine and Food Festival officially starts today, culminating tomorrow with cooking demos by Richard Blais, winner of “Top Chef All-Stars”, Rick Moonen, “Top Chef Masters” Finalist and Executive Chef of RM Seafood, and a whole bunch of other big names that continues onto Sunday.
Saturday and Sunday's events will be held at Newport Beach Civic Center from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. There will be tastings from local restaurants like Tamarind of London, Selanne Steak Tavern and others, not all of them Newport Beach spots.
Tickets aren't cheap. A one-day-all-access pass for tomorrow's events alone is $195 per person.
