Ways & Means Oyster House – Orange
Our recent On the Line subjects will be in the kitchen come Sunday for a full day of holiday dining. Brunch will be served between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. For $25, patrons are given options during their three-course prix fixe like a Benediction with braised duck leg. At night, the price amplifies to $45, but now includes items like white chocolate berry cobbler with streusel and housemade vanilla ice cream.

Royal Khyber – Costa Mesa
Serving an all-you-can-eat spread from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., festive $5 cocktails and custom omelettes make for a delicious afternoon. Stock up on lamb, fish and tandoori bread. Royal Khyber is charging $21.95 per adult, $15.95 for children under ten (exclusive of tax and gratuity).
Sapphire – Laguna Beach
Offering my favorite meal, Sapphire's brunch is being served from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. All meals start with a Southern pickled shrimp appetizer. From there, patrons choose from a selection of entrees and desserts. Noteworthy options include a pan-seared branzino in a red wine cioppino broth and a Mexican dark chocolate verrine made of Kahula caramel cremeux. Pricing for three courses starts at $58 (beverage, tax and gratuity not included).
Bistro Bleu – Anaheim
Situated so deep into Anaheim she'll think you're taking her to Zankou Chicken for Mother's Day, Bistro Bleu's comprehensive meal options are meant to accommodate many tastes. With a brunch, dinner and special dinner prix fixe, David Kesler's Cal-French fare is worth the drive. Save room for the chocolate souffle Edwin raves about.

Over at the recently renovated Crowne Plaza, Scott Brandon's team keeps the drinks flowing with happy hour pricing all day.
