Dubbed “Retro Row,” 4th Street in Long Beach is throwing itself a party brought to you by the number 4! What’s there to do on “Four on the 4th?” Enjoy beer, wine, live music and food. (Hey, that’s four things!) How long can people enjoy the special stroll? From 2-6 p.m. (Hey, that’s four hours!) Retro Row opens its stretch of street between Temple and Cherry Avenue with a little extra strut for the special shindig. Craft breweries and wineries are set to offer samples to sip. Restaurants will serve special priced happy hour dishes. Live bands kick out the jams while folks visit a vintage clothing store or two. Proceeds go towards keeping 4th street spotless. There’s so much going on that revelers are going to wish “Four on 4th” could go on four…ahem, forever!
