I'm not saying that the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce is just jumping on the bargain bandwagon started locally by OC Restaurant Week, but guess what they're doing in August (8/1 – 8/7)?

Yep. They're going to hold their first everĀ Fullerton Restaurant Week, where they hope most of the roughly 250 restaurants in town will offer prix-fixe menus with price points at $10, $20, $30 or $40.
Actually, I'm quite excited about this, even if the idea isn't exactly original. Fullerton has a lot of great eats these days, most of them concentrated in DTF (Down Town Fullerton). In fact, I'm really hoping other cities follow suit. Irvine? Tustin? Costa Mesa? I'm lookin' at you!
