“Just remember that all the people in this world haven’t had the advantages that you’ve had,” quips the beginning of one of the most renowned books written in the last century—and tonight, we can all enjoy those advantages in the way of decadent indulgences at Gatsby’s Black & White Soirée. This opulent fundraiser, hosted by the Muckenthaler Cultural Center, honors both the Center's 90th birthday and the musical achievements of Sara McFerrin, this year's Arts Legacy Award winner. Guests are asked to wear their nicest black and/or white attire ('20s-themed, if you can!) for an evening of live music, fine dining, fancy cocktails, and sleight-of-hand magic courtesy of soiree host Joe Monti. Pop the champagne and get ready to dance all night. After all, we like large parties, they're so intimate—at small parties, there isn't any privacy.
