Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom, who hopes voters in November will promote him to governor, is coming to Orange Thursday afternoon.
The Democratic Party of Orange County hosts a meet and greet with the candidate at UA Local 582 Plumbers & Steamfitters Union Hall, 1916 W. Chapman Ave., Orange.
Doors open 3:30 p.m. for the event that is scheduled to begin a half hour later.
According to the John Cox for Governor 2018 events page on Facebook, Newsom’s Republican rival for governor has no campaign events currently scheduled.
