We can finally say that The Frida Cinema's status as a fixture in the nightlife and art scene in Downtown Santa Ana is official, so we're eagerly awaiting what new events director Logan Crow has up his sleeve. Today's event should be a blast: an art show, film screening and punk bands all rolled into one fantastic day dedicated to females! Local bands Half Goon, Bellhaunts and The Grinning Ghosts will be there, along with Bratmobile alum Alison Wolf playing with new band Sex Stains and Agatha from Seattle. Apostasis, Edith Crash and Bad Machine are also playing, and be sure to stick around for a Q&A with Bikini Kill's Kathleen Hanna for her film The Punk Singer.
