The largest public exhibition of Chuck Jones' oil paintings to date will be on display free of charge at Chapman University. And yes, it does include works of your favorite Warner Bros. characters, but most notably, the exhibition also includes his own personal images, which is where his CalArts formal training in the fine arts shines through. “Chuck-staposed” is about as personal as it gets: Jones' widow, Marian, and their grandson, Craig Kausen, co-curated the display. Chuck Jones: A creator of much more than smart-alecky bunnies, indignant ducks and salacious skunks? Truly!
