One of the nicest traditions Long Beach has going for it is Dennis Owens’ seasonal funk-soul Good Foot nights, where both holiday orphans and people who just can’t get funky enough with their families go to find a joyful camaraderie all its own. And now that the Good Foot has formally ended its monumental monthly run at the Que Sera, this is your only chance to get down with what the Parliaments correctly called “Good Old Music.” These are the kind of rare original vinyl records that only come around once a year, and with returning Good Foot residents Scott Weaver and Abel and special guest Brown Amy, you’ll be all set for making merry.
