We sifted through the many options and narrowed it down to a handful. Why are we reporting so early? So you have time to book a reservation, silly!
Three Seventy Common Kitchen + Drink – Laguna Beach
Chef Ryan Adams has decided to open early for the special day. Savor a three-course, prix-fixe meal for $45 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Their spring scramble with chicken confit is tempting.
TAPS Fish House & Brewery – Brea
While both Irvine and Brea are celebrating Sunday, only Brea is offering the brunch on Saturday as well. Hey, when brunch includes the option of two beers, count us in! Brunch hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
American Tea Room – Newport Beach
Visit before or after your celebratory meal for a “buy one, get one” offer. Mothers stopping by are treated to a complimentary signature or classic tea with the purchase of another beverage. Their Chamomile Palmer is a cool way to enjoy the afternoon. 549 Newport Center Dr; (949) 432-6006.
Anaheim White House
The entire dinner menu is available between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. Venison, scallop ceviche and ricotta with Pecorino cheese filled ravioli are just some of the specialties served.
Marche Moderne – Costa Mesa
Open both for lunch between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and dinner service from 5:30 to 8 p.m, head up to the Penthouse level for exquisite French dining. We are in love with Amelia Marneau’s macaron with pistachio gelato (pictured).
Cafe Gratitude – Newport Beach
If mom eats organic vegan and drinks cocktails, this is your spot. A complimentary dessert is included with her meal. Try something stunning like the forest berry meringata. Their on-site Detox Market also offers last minute presents.
