Right now, you might ask yourself, why would we celebrate the six-month countdown to St. Patrick's Day? Sure, it's a fun holiday, but does it warrant St. Patrick's in September like Christmas in July? Yes. And it doesn't really matter if that makes sense—we like to eat comfort food and get drunk and dance to Irish music! The House of Blues takes care of all the fixings and cheesy Irish decorations, and you'll see Young Dubliners and King Washington on the big stage, and imbibe on whisky tastings from the lovely, barely dressed Jameson cocktail girls. Of course, beers and food are still on you (it's Downtown Disney, what did you expect?), but the HOB kitchen fixes up fish and chips, corned beef sliders and shamrock potato skins. At the bar, count on Irish Car Bombs and Irish beer on tap. It's really an excuse to wear your “Kiss Me, I'm Irish” t-shirt.
