These days, it seems like Halloween's a veritable slut parade—what with the “costumes” ladies and hot gay gentlemen don during our favorite drunken holiday. So, it's nice to see a parade of things dressed up and looking adorable, like puppies—that’s why the Haute Dog Howl’oween Parade is such a welcome treat. This year’s cute-fest features more pups than ever before (500-plus are expected to attend), as they attempt to break the world record for the number of costumed dogs in a parade. And if that's not enough to warm your heart, the funds generated by the event benefit spay/neuter programs, rescue groups, Operation Santa Paws and other Long Beach service projects.
