This month, artists at Las Laguna Gallery will display thought-provoking works on a subject many people don’t often stop to consider: the concept of identity and who they are. Every artist— like Gary Beeber, Megan Trobaugh, Jennifer Weigel, Ryan Smith, Kate Stipp, Andrea Coates, etc.— approaches the topic differently and responds through the visual mediums of photography and painting for an eclectic array of personal representation and in some cases, empowerment. Over twenty-three artists were prompted to contribute to this show, so it’s likely that by the time you leave you’ll be doing some self-examination of your own.
