There's a good reason all the new bars and clubs on HB's Main Street try their damnedest to bite the style of mainstay HURRICANES—this is the perfect balance of eye candy, booze and service. Football fan? Sundays are gospel here, since each NFL game broadcasts from a multitude of screens. Hungry? The menu hosts a slew of Caribbean cuisine like Jamaican jerk chicken and fresh swordfish steaks, as well as traditional bar munchies like killer quesadillas, monster nachos and unreal smoked albacore. Thirsty? 'Canes has the best happy hour on Main Street (Monday through Friday from 4:30 in the afternoon until 7:30 in the eve), when all libations and appetizers are half off—I've blown my college tuition during these hours trying to gulp as much Southern Comfort as my liver can absorb. Throw in the hottest staff on the block; a liberal dose of live entertainment; and an unrelenting stream of locals, tourists, curious onlookers and porn stars, and Hurricanes is a daily show that's something to behold.
