I only saw this recently in photos at the very spot where you can see it live today and tomorrow: near Hopdoddy and Macy's at Fashion Island in Newport Beach.
That's where you'll find the Lincoln Experience Center and its Center Stage display of the Lincoln Navigator Concept vehicle.
I'll tell you more about the Lincoln Experience Center in an upcoming Ride Me car review, but I wanted to point you to the display because it will only be up today and Tuesday until 9 p.m. (The center opens at 10 a.m.)
Of course, the first thing you notice are those eye-catching gull wing doors and “Concertina” steps, which will come in quite handy for little ones as well as aging Baby Boomers. Am told the concept Navigator is also chock full of technological innovations.
The great thing about the Lincoln Experience Center is you can find out much, much more about the vehicles on display without the pressure of being sold anything. The center's experts know as much (and likely more) about the rides than the salesmen on car lots. But the staffers do not sell vehicles, they only show them and answer any questions center visitors have. If someone mentions they are interested in buying, the center does a “soft” handoff to a local Lincoln dealer.
You can also take test drives on site at the tony shopping center, and those who do receive a Lincoln-branded S’well bottle. Lincoln Experience Center also serves great snacks and beverages. If you prefer to make a reservation for a personal experience at the Experience Center, click here.
The address is 139 Newport Center Dr. The phone number is (844) 236-3174.
