If you're into that sort of thing, an Irvine man is currently one of 10 male finalists in PETA's Sexiest Vegan Next Door contest. 34-year-old Lloyd Austin, originally from Australia, might win an all expenses-paid trip to Maui if you vote for him on PETA's website.

A little bit about Austin, courtesy at the people over at PETA:
Austin went vegetarian about five years ago–the same time he moved from Australia to California–and shortly afterward, he went vegan. He says that since then, his blood pressure has dropped. Also, his cholesterol is at an all-time low, and he describes himself as “fit as a fiddle!” Austin uses the extra energy he has to keep up with his busy job as an electrical consultant on “green” energy projects as well as his physically demanding hobbies, including snowboarding and surfing.
Me, I like eggs a little bit too much.
