Connecting Things is an awesome OC-based monthly talk series that's been going on for a little over half a year, and Jason Quinn, Orange County's home-grown master chef, will be the event's next speaker. Check him out at the event on August 5, when Quinn will head over to the Batch co-working space in Downtown Santa Ana (204 E 4th Street, Suite H. Santa Ana, CA 92701) to talk about his road to success and the bumps, bruises, and roadblocks he's hit along the way.

Don't use work as an excuse not to show; the event, which caters to creatives, will kick off at 8:00 in the morning with networking, coffee from Lord Windsor Roasters in Long Beach, and breakfast à la pastries, açai bowls, and other miscellany.
Quinn will go on at approximately 8:20 and speak for about half an hour.
For more information about the event, visit their website at connectingthings.co.
