With Christmas finally over with and the New Year come and gone, some of us have a tendency to fall into a little depressive lull. But fret not because there are people in the world like Jeremy Hotz, whose perpetual miserableness is a way of life year round. Or, in Hotz's case, the reason behind his successful career. As a staff writer for The Jon Stewart Show and star of many of his own comedy specials, Hotz's self-depreciating take on life, complete with hunched frame and one hand reclusively tucked under his chin, won fans around the globe. Join him this week at the Irvine Improv where he dismally discusses relationships, pets, his own shortcomings—and laugh away any remaining traces of those bothersome holiday blues.
