It’s hard to believe that the Canadian garage rock duo have been around for well over a decade now — with a year split between 2010 and 2011. Despite the break up and subsequent reemergence, the Montreal natives continue to invigorate fans with their kinetic live show and idiosyncratic songs. Earlier this year, the band released their fourth studio album, Bad News Boys, to critical acclaim of the band’s swagger and artful blend garage rock and doo wop. King Khan and Mark Sultan aka BBQ have managed to carve their own corner and interpretation of how rock music should sound and the results have been overwhelmingly original. If you want to see sweaty rock in a tiny environment, then there isn’t a show that will be more fitting than heading on down to the Constellation Room to see these guys.
