Australian duo Knife Party’s dance music soundings may be more at home at a more festive time — think New Year’s Eve. However, Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen are going to kick off 2016 in style. Known for their kinetic brand of electro house meets drum and bass, Knife Party have emerged as one of the most popular EDM bands in the world. In November, the duo released their latest EP in the form of Trigger Warning, which features three new songs and a remix of “PLUR Police” by Jauz. The group’s 2014 album Abandon Ship saw them become international sensations in the dance world, and the EP is a continuation of what’s to come. Get ready to get down on New Year’s night and as the beats will be thumping throughout the Observatory.
