Since 2007 Chicago-based trio Krewella has spread their blend of dubstep-meets-electro house to the masses. Singers Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf, plus their producer Kris “Rain Man” Trindl, caught a massive wave of buzz in the few short years since the release of their first EP in 2012. They’ve already headlined EDM-driven festivals like Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival and Stereosonic, with their sets winning approval of fans and critics alike. Add to that an EP that bounced to No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Radio Airplay charts, a debut album that peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 along with popular remixes of songs by Skrillex, The Knife and Fall Out Boy, and it’s easy to see why Krewella is one of the fastest rising groups in dance music today.
