Pro fútbol makes its way to OC with the introduction of the Los Angeles Blues, a new team that will soon settle into its primary home field, Cal State Fullerton's Titan Stadium. As the third professional men's club in the region, joining the Galaxy and Chivas USA, the Blues will play in the United Soccer Leagues' USL Pro division starting next year. The team is led by club president Ali Mansouri and head coach Charlie Naimo, general manager of the defunct women's professional soccer club Los Angeles Sol.

Unveiled yesterday at the stadium were the team's first three player signings: Mexican Primera Division veteran Oscar Dautt (GK), Cesar Rivera (MF) and former LA Galaxy midfielder and Indiana University star Josh Tudela (MF). The club will market to the Spanish community, and hopes to draw 2,000 to 3,000 attendees per game in 2011.
