Venerable Chodron emphasizes the practical application of Budda's teachings in our daily lives and is especially skilled at explaining them in ways easily understood by Westerners. She is well-known for her warm, humorous, and lucid teachings. This event is sponsored by the Departments of Sociology and Religious Studies, Wilkinson College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Honors Program. This event is free and open to the public.
