I got a press release today about the Downtown Anaheim Farmers' Market trying to get people to vote for them as Best Farmers' Market in OC. (Interestingly, none of the OC Farm Bureau markets are on the list, like, say, Irvine or Laguna Hills or Costa Mesa.) The contest is the annual “best of” run by Fox 11 up in L.A.
Since your average OC Weekly reader is about as likely to watch news on Fox as to donate money to Joe Arpaio's re-election campaign, this may be news to you. If you feel like voting (and honestly, Anaheim is the best of the farmers' markets on the list), you can do so here.

That wasn't the interesting part of the press release, though. No, I
always feel like I need to promote loaf-shaped protein, and Tillamook
Cheddar will be bringing their Loaf Love Tour to the Downtown Anaheim
Farmers' Market next Thursday, March 25 from noon to 5 p.m. Sample
Tillamook cheese and learn the real meaning of cheddar (as opposed to
what you learned this week on ¡Ask A Mexican!).
If you don't like it, you can always just grab a gyros from Louks to Go and a crêpe from Crêpes Bonaparte.
