Say you were going to be in Santiago, Chile on April 2 and 3 next year. That would mean you'd be able to go to the first ever Lollapalooza held abroad!
Throughout its history Lollapalooza has toured the country many times, but this is a first. Mastermind Perry Farrell is bringing not only North American artists to the Santiago festival, many Chilean bands are going to be playing as well.

Farrell says he chose Chile because there was open space, could accomodate 100,000 people and was close to the city. Plus, he said, people in Santiago
“have a passion for contemporary music and lead international lifestyles.” To be held at O' Higgins Park, the venue is supposed to be very similar to Chicago's Grant Park, home to the American festival these days.
