It's that time of year again—the entire city of Long Beach turns into one huge, proudly waving rainbow flag. This weekend marks the 30th annual Gay Pride Festival and celebration, held at every storefront, bar, and restaurant in town, but centered at a giant gathering down by the Convention Center. Kicking off Sunday's festivities is a parade along scenic Ocean Blvd., with glittering floats, booming dance music, marching drag queens, and thousands of people showing love for the LGBT community and support for equal rights. After the parade, head down to the festival for more dancing, food, drinks, performances from American Idol and The Voice finalists, fashion shows and more. Let that flag wave, baby.
