It was nice of you to turn down the music for us at the lovely new Starbucks that’s a convenient few minutes’ walk from our home, but you really didn’t turn it down that much. Others were forced to move their conversations into the cold outside so they wouldn’t have to constantly compete with the high volume. Why not give your customers some consideration by allowing them to be alone with their own thoughts as they enjoy the coffee and newspaper they just purchased from you, instead of blotting them out with your idea of what’s really great to listen to?
