Nothing puts that New Year's resolution to lose a few into overdrive like watching a slew of professional dancers shimmy around the stage wearing skin-tight costuming. That said, we recommend heading over to the Irvine Barclay Theatre this week for Luis Bravo's Forever Tango, the Broadway dance hit featuring 14 of the best dancers from Argentina backed by a live orchestra and vocalist. The show takes a sensual stride across the history of the tango—from Buenos Aires in the 1900s to the dance's gilded era in the '40s and '50s. Sultry, passionate, sophisticated—Forever Tango is a masterpiece of style and art. And sure makes that hot yoga class seem totally worth it.
