Since the spring of 2012, Disney’s California Adventure park has hosted the hugely popular Mad T Party.
Monday, Disney announced the final Mad T Party in Anaheim will be March 30.
“So all of you Mad fans out there will want to make plans to join Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum for one last spot of T,” the resort advises in a “splendiferous” announcement. “The Rabbit Hole will be open on weekends through March 13 and nightly March 18-30.”
Live music, unique entertainment, games, dancing and a real-world escape into the fantastic world of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland have enticed crowds since the Mad T Party first replaced ElecTRONica at the Hollywood Pictures Backlot.
Indeed, Mad T partiers don’t hold back in expressing their displeasure over the party ending via the Disney Parks blog.
Some ask an interesting question: Why is the party ending before Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass hits theaters on May 27?
Curiouser and curiouser.
