We love characters like Manxmouse. He's distinct from all the other mice—Manxmouse has giant rabbit-like ears, no tail and dons neon-blue fur. And all those things that make him unique is what gives him confidence. He's proud to be a different kind of mouse. Manxmouse: The Mouse Who Knew No Fear makes its U.S. debut this weekend at the Segerstrom Center, with this afternoon's performance also interpreted in sign-language. Bring the whole family to cheer on Manxmouse as he bravely sets out on an adventure to find the Manx cat, who is supposedly destined to eat him. Along the way, he meets a wild bunch of characters, including treacherous pet store owners. Will Manxmouse triumph? Of course he will. Adapted from a 1968 children's book by Paul Gallico, Manxmouse champions for that one lesson all kids should know: Being different can be absolutely wonderful.
