We didn't know it's National Frozen Yogurt Day next week. We almost don't care, because by the time we get to our nearest Yogurtland, the line won't be worth the wait (or the parking hassle, if we're talking Diamond Jamboree). But we like to share the love.
Last year, Phillip Chang's chilly brand served over 1.2 million free cups of yogurt. Per Charlotte Lucich, Director of Marketing at Yogurtland, “National Frozen Yogurt Day allows us to thank our fans, and once again we look forward to serving them delicious yogurt with a wide range of toppings. This year, we are proud to partner with Hershey's to make National Frozen Yogurt Day a very sweet reward for our fans.” So what are the important details?

Commemorative cups and collectible, biodegradable spoons will be handed out to patrons. With 16 flavors to choose from before toppings, this will make for one indulgent dessert. Our new favorite: Hazelnut Latte— smooth java and cream with a hint of toasty hazelnut. And despite being advertised as NO SUGAR, it's not lacking in flavor.
This deal is valid at participating locations only, so confirm with your preferred fro-yo locale before you go. We heard reports from last year's taste claiming once the cups/spoons disappear, so does the deal. But you don't have to take our word for it. Just remember that from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the brain freeze will settle in.
