As the season winds down and back-to-school commercials start flooding the media waves, hang on to every last moment of summer you possibly can. One of the final summer outdoor movie nights comes courtesy of Irvine's William R. Mason Regional Park, where family's are invited to settle in for a free screening of Despicable Me 2, the second installment of Universal's cartoon franchise about a super-villain who adopts three adorable little girls (the Minions are set to get their own movie next year and Despicable Me 3 will come out in 2017). So bring your beach chairs and picnic baskets for one more family-friendly film under the summer night sky, it's going to be a long nine months before we can do this again. Guests are also treated to free popcorn and bottled water.
