Not since Arrested Development’s Gob Bluth dazzled Newport Beach and the viewers of Girls with Low Self Esteem by “disappearing” a yacht, have locals been treated to a magic show like Masters of Illusion. Based on the television program of the same name, Masters of Illusion is a two-hour magic spectacular featuring numerous magicians, animals, dancers, spectacle and suspense. Take note of the name—these professionals don’t go by “Masters of Magic Tricks” for a reason. That’s because, as Gob Bluth would remind us, “A trick is something a whore does for money.”
