Perhaps lost in the manhunt for Christopher Jordan Dorner, who is accused of this week's cold-blooded shooting deaths of a Riverside police officer, Monica Quan and Keith Lawrence, are the results of the slain engaged Irvine couple's autopsies.
]
No surprise there: Quan, 28, and Lawrence, 27, died of multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Orange County coroner confirmed Wednesday.
But the sheriff's department, which includes the coroner's office as a division, cited the ongoing investigation in withholding such details as where each victim was shot and how many rounds struck each.
As reported last night, the so-called “manifesto” Dorner left behind stated Monica's father, Randal Quan, who as an LAPD police captain advocated for the triple-murder suspect in disciplinary actions, had supposedly not fought vigorously enough on his behalf. Dorner had a special message for the retired cop directing him to look into the faces of his family members to explain why Monica Quan was taken out.
