Amongst the litany of pop punk bands who emerged from the 90's, Motion City Soundtrack leads the pack as far as melody is concerned. This is perhaps aided by the fact that they are one of the few punk bands to make use of Moog synthesizers. Hailing from Minnesota, the band formed in 1997. They've recorded five albums, the most recent this year's Go.
