Laurent Vrignaud will open a second location of his French Bistro Moulin in Laguna Beach at 248 Forest Ave. at the former location of Scandia Bakery. The new place is slated to open this summer and will offer a similar menu to his flagship restaurant in Newport Beach, which opened in September 2014.
In the morning, there will be coffee and espresso to sip with made-to-order crepes and waffles. In the afternoons and evenings, Vrignaud will offer rotisserie chicken roasted in specialty ovens imported from France. The new Laguna Beach location will also have ice cream.
When the 1,600 square foot space opens, it will have a front patio, a stand-alone coffee bar, and an exhibition kitchen. More news on this here as it comes.
