Mozambique, the South African staple of Laguna Beach, is bringing its peri peri chile-spiced chicken and shrimp dishes to a fast-casual concept in Newport Beach. It will use the Mozambique name and the aforementioned chile as a subtitle. Reader JB gave us the scoop, as well as these pictures.
The restaurant will be located at the Bluffs, on the corner of MacArthur and Bison, in the center that holds a Pei Wei, Freshii and Islands among its fast-casual competitors. It’s slated to open, well, any time now, since it’s actually already fall. More details to be reported as they come.
