Though Fullerton's Audacity called Orange County's music scene “a joke” in a recent interview with the District, we still heart them and their sloppy poppy ways. So it's cool to see them about to embark on a 15-date national tour, starting this Thursday in Tucson, AZ, and joined by a variety of opening acts. They're also hitting three spots in Texas, Memphis, Philly, DC, two NYC dates, Chicago and a bunch of other stops. They're going to be busy dudes! Also cool: this tour poster, lovingly rendered by Pop Noir's Luke McGarry. (If you'd like, read Erin DeWitt's Locals Only on the band here.) Audacity opened up for Mika Miko and Crystal Antlers just last Wednesday at Alex's Bar; 'twas a rad show.
Something to look out for: Audacity's going to be doing a tour blog on their Gimmesound page, so maybe give that a look.
