The Charlatans UK–or, as they're known in the rest of the non-America world, The Charlatans–have been one of the most prolific and endearing Britpop bands of the last two decades. While plenty of their peers have broken up or faded away, the Charlatans have remained constant, despite ebbs and flows of popularity and the 1996 death of original keyboardist Rob Collins.
They released their 10th album, You Cross My Path, last year on UK's hip Cooking Vinyl record, and are now launching a US tour this fall behind the release–which, as you've no doubt guessed by now, is coming our way. Specifically, Oct. 12 at Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 29, at 10 a.m.
