This was announced kinda quietly over the weekend, but in case you haven't heard: Depeche Mode is coming to the Honda Center in Anaheim on August 19.
It's the latest addition to their tour behind Sounds of the Universe, their 12th (!) full-length (and first since 2005's Playing the Angel), out on April 21. They've already got Hollywood Bowl performances scheduled on August 16 and 17. There's various pre-sales going on, and it's on sale to the general public a week from today, March 30, at 10 a.m. $49-$99.
I saw D-Mode back in 2005, here's my review of that show. It probably isn't a very good review. But it was a great show! Definitely worth it, with lots of energy that you might not expect given how they're, y'know, pretty old now. I liked it in large amounts.
